It was a great pleasure to be part of Lisa and Tony’s wedding at Hanbury Manor. There were some beautiful personal touches with their son Harrison being the ring bearer and their daughter Bethan giving a speech during the ceremony. They had huge smiles on their faces all day and this was echoed by all their guests.

Wedding: Lucy & Bobby ~ The Room in the Rodings, Essex

Lucy and Bobby’s wedding was such a fantastic day not even the torrential rain could dampen anyone’s spirits. The day started with Lucy and her very cool multi-coloured Rocketdog wedding shoes before I headed over to Bobby and his best man for a few shots before making our way to the church.  It was a beautiful ceremony full of personal touches. Luckily Lucy had a pair of Hunter wellies in the car for their portrait session on the way to the reception.

The Room in the Rodings looked so incredibly stylish set up for the tea party wedding breakfast. My god, there was so much food, after the cream tea served on mismatched vintage china the guests were then treated to an evening hog roast. I’m sure that all the dancing in the evening would have helped work the calories off.

Wedding: Emma & James ~ St Peter’s Church St Albans & Sandridgebury Farm, Hertfordshire

After first meeting Emma & James I knew that their wedding was going to be an incredible one to photograph. James and I hit it off immediately as we both love cycling and had both independently cycled the length of Britain the previous summer to raise money for charity. The fact that the reception was going to be in large Tipi’s sealed it for me and took me back to being 7 years old when my ‘hippyish’ mum had organised a tipi birthday party for me, this was legendary and even mentioned by my best man at my own wedding.

It was an early start at their house in St Albans where Emma spent the morning getting ready, with beautiful results I might add. The ceremony was held at their local church before making our way to Sandridgebury Farm for the reception with a stop on route for a portrait session.

The 3 huge adjoining Tipis made for the most fabulous setting for the wedding reception. It was a day filled with love, joy and laughter and there were plenty of giggles during the evening’s photo booth session.

A huge thanks to Jamie Burrell for second shooting with me on the day and even using my Nikon Cameras to shoot the photo booth. (Must have been hard for a cannon man!!!!)
