Kirsty & Andrew were blessed with the most perfect sunny winters day for their wedding. It was an early start with Kirsty and her bridesmaids at her parent’s house; they all looked beautiful and Lucy Jayne Makeup did a fantastic job as always. As the bride got into her dress I don’t think that there was a dry eye in the house, lucky the waterproof make up did its job.
The ceremony took place at Mersham Church before a short drive to the reception at Lympne Castel. My second wedding here this year, I love working at this venue; the views out over the Romney Marshes are just stunning. The castle made for the perfect setting for a Christmassy wedding and the setting sun provided beautiful light for the bridal portraits albeit a bit on the chilly side.
The evening kicked off with some fantastic speeches and an impromptu one from the bride as well. But being a teacher I think she did a great job of keeping the crowd under control. It was then time for the first dance; all those lessons paid off.
A massive thanks to Jamie for assisting me on the day. (Some of the photos below are his work).
Thanks for having us along to capture your day.
